About Amanda Addington

I grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland, attended college near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and then moved to Las Vegas where I spent 8 years before returning to Maryland.

When I have a free weekend with my family, we like to fit in some mountain biking around the Middletown High School golf and basketball seasons.  We are avid travelers and hope to visit Europe in the next couple of years and embark on our first cruise as well.

There’s something to be said about having four distinct seasons, and I have loved every minute since I moved back to Maryland 3 years ago.  Frederick and the surrounding counties are so beautiful.  I consider myself very lucky to have the best of both worlds being so close to Washington D.C. but yet have rural farmland, vineyards and historic towns to surround me as well.

Becoming a Real Estate Agent was a natural fit for me.  I have, my entire career, worked in real estate.  I spent time as a consultant and also worked for both a private and public homebuilder at different times.  I have seen the ebb and flow of the market from both a personal and professional standpoint.  When the opportunity presented itself to work for the consumer rather than builder, I knew that I would love it… and I do.

If you would like for me to work with you to sell your current home or find a new home in the Frederick, Washington or Montgomery County areas, please contact me.
